She even hand-dyed each cheese cloth table runner! One of my favorite details was the dessert display. She collected candlesticks, frames and vases during their engagement which made for a perfectly mismatched-vintage look and it was beautiful! Each table number was hand written by Britt and the menu cards were also designed by her. There was even an arrow in the middle to make this already awesome display even more realistic.Īll of the centerpieces were designed by Britt. The escort cards were pinned on a board and made to look like an archery target. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed beverages that were served from a bar made from an antique bed frame. It made for the most romantic backdrop for the ceremony! After the ceremony, we moved the hay and it became an archery course. Floral and greenery adorned the arch and gorgeous antique rug pulled the look together. For the ceremony, a gorgeous arch was constructed from branches and anchored with bales of hay. Remember when I said Britt was creative? Well here are just a few things her and Grady made for the big day. Everything was planned out perfectly and I was so excited to see it all come together. Following that, they would partake in a delicious family-style meal. Afterwards guests would enjoy cocktail hour in front of the packing house. Surrounding the packaging house were beautiful fields and of course blueberries! The ceremony would be held out in the field as the sun began to set. The covered space next to it is where all of the seating would be. The loading area would be the perfect stage for the dessert display and DJ. The packing house itself would become a catering kitchen.

They were going to transform the packing house and its surroundings into the perfect place for the big day! She came out to the resort with some delicious samples and we hit it off immediately! Little did I know that a few years later I would be coordinating her big day!īritt is an incredibly creative person! When she told me she would be getting married at her “funcle’s” (fun + uncle = funcle) blueberry farm, I had no doubt in my mind it was going to be fabulous! We went out to the farm and walked around and it was so fun to hear all she had planned. I was working at Mission Inn and she had just moved to Mount Dora to open up Le Petit Sweet. You guys! Britt and Grady’s burgundy and blush plaid wedding at Far Reach Ranch was everything dreams are made of!! I can remember the day I met Britt.
